Choose a market and a review threshold. Get a small list of Google Maps listings you can check, with the rating, review count and reason each business matched.

## Method and limits

Checks up to 20 returned listings and shows up to 5 matches. Ratings must be above zero and review counts must meet your minimum. Missing ratings are counted separately. Results can be cached for 6 hours.

Method checked 27 October 2026. One prospecting check per 24 hours, shared with the business finder.

Example: plumbers in Manchester, United Kingdom; maximum 3.5/5 and at least 10 reviews. A listing rated 3.2 from 27 reviews qualifies. An unrated listing or one with only 2 reviews does not.

## FAQ

### Can I find businesses with bad reviews or poor ratings?

This page groups those terms into one task: filtering an average Google rating with a minimum review count. A low average is an observation, not proof of a service problem or willingness to buy.

### Does this identify unanswered negative reviews?

No. This free check fetches zero review texts or owner responses. It cannot establish unanswered reviews, sentiment or recent review trends.

### Why set a minimum number of reviews?

One low score and a well-established rating are different samples. The default minimum is 10; choose a threshold suitable for your research. Unrated is never treated as zero stars.
